Judging

A thorough and rigorous judging process is in place for each round of the competition to ensure that only the best business ideas make it through to the grand final.

The judging process is split into 3 rounds:

Round 1 - the video pitch

Once your video is live on The Big Pitch website, run your own marketing campaign and get people to vote for it. Be aware that the only valid votes for the competition are those made via The Big Pitch website and shown on the bespoke voting counter that appears under each entry. To place a vote, the user must visit The Big Pitch website and click on the voting button, they will then be asked to log in with Facebook. Once the user has logged in to their personal Facebook account, they are able to click on the "vote now" button. Please note that each user can vote for multiple ideas, however can only vote for an individual idea once. The 10 most popular first round entries, in terms of the public vote via our website will automatically proceed into Round 2 of the competition. Links to all the remaining video entries will then be sent to our expert panel of Round 1 judges who will each be asked to vote for their 15 favourite ideas.
