ROUND ONE – THE VIDEO PITCH

Competition officially opens. Students can submit a 1-minute video
pitch via the website. The public can provide opinion and feedback on video submissions. Open to all and can be watched and reviewed by all.
Wednesday 19 February
The Big Pitch will launch on the Wednesday 19 February.
Friday 20 March, 12pm
Deadline for ALL video submissions. Voting closes.
20 March – 27 March
Judging – 10 most popular videos will progress to Round 2. Round 1 judges decide on the 10 best remaining business ideas.
Monday 30 March
All 20 successful individuals and / or teams notified and invited into Round 2 of the competition.
Wednesday 8 – Monday 27 April
22 successful individuals and teams will be judged by a panel of judges based on their 60-second video pitches. Due to the government's response to COVID-19, the Residential Boot Camp has been cancelled.
Monday 27 April
10 finalists will be announced.
ROUND THREE – THE GRAND FINAL
Friday 1 May
One-to-one consultations on financial forecasts and business plans.
Thursday 7 May
Finalists submit a two-page business plan and financial forecast.
Monday 18 May
Judges deliberate their winners.
Wednesday 20 May
Winners announced via email and social media. The Big Pitch Grand Final has been cancelled due to Anglia Ruskin University's commitment to social distancing.
